NYC Mayor Condemns US Military Strike in Venezuela

The Mayor of New York City, Zoran Mamdani, strongly condemned the US military strike in Venezuela, describing it as a violation of international law and an act of war. According to President Trump, the attack involved bombings of military bases and the “capture” of President Maduro and his wife. Mamdani expressed concern for the safety of Venezuelan residents of New York City, as well as all New Yorkers, and pledged to closely monitor the situation and issue relevant guidance. He recently took office as Mayor of New York City, becoming the first Muslim and the youngest mayor of the city in decades.
