New Wave of Bad Weather from Italy to Affect Cyprus

A new wave of bad weather is expected to affect Cyprus in the coming hours, moving from Italy. Meteorologist Andreas Hadjigeorgiou stated that the current bad weather, which originated from Greece, is weakening, but the new low-pressure system will bring rain and possible thunderstorms with hail, especially in coastal areas. On Friday, the phenomena will be limited to the west, mountainous, and southwestern parts of Cyprus. Improvement is expected on Saturday, but there is uncertainty about the intensity of the phenomena. Sunday will see a temperature rise, approaching or even exceeding the average climatic values for the season. Winds will be strong to very strong on Thursday but will weaken later. Generally, no strong winds are expected until Monday.
