New Thriller in Greece with Possible Double Murder of Elderly People Who Were Burned. The Mystery of the 5 Wills

The case of the death of two elderly siblings in Nafpaktos, initially attributed to suicide, is being re-examined by the authorities following new evidence. Specifically, toxicological tests revealed the presence of sedative substances in the 84-year-old's body, while five different wills were found, some of which contradicted each other. The fire that broke out in their home was limited in extent, with burning concentrated mainly on the bodies of the victims. In addition, flammable liquid (alcohol) was found at the scene, raising questions about the circumstances of the fire. Close relatives of the siblings have disputed the suicide scenario from the outset, arguing that there was no indication of despair or intent to take their own lives. The forensic examination carried out in 2024 was characterized by ambiguities. The authorities are called upon to reassess all the evidence and investigate the possibility of a double murder, as the case becomes more complicated with new data and questions concerning a possible family deadlock or a well-concealed crime.
