New Board of Directors of the Cyprus Journalists' Union Constituted

The new Board of Directors of the Cyprus Journalists' Union (ESK) convened today for its first session following the electoral general assembly. During the session, the positions of Vice President, General Secretary, and Treasurer were filled, with Fanis Makridis, Eleni Konstantinou, and Stavros Antoniou being unanimously elected respectively. The composition of the new Board of Directors is as follows: Giorgos Frangos (President), Fanis Makridis (Vice President), Eleni Konstantinou (General Secretary), Stavros Antoniou (Treasurer), and members Dimitra Georgiou, Ioanna Christodoulou, and Stelios Marathovouniotis. The process of constituting the Board of Directors marks the beginning of the ESK's new term and the assumption of duties by the new members. The unanimous election of officials indicates unity and cooperation within the Journalists' Union, which is expected to contribute to the effective tackling of challenges and the promotion of the interests of journalists in Cyprus.
