Mystery in Egypt: Second Sphinx Possibly Found Beneath Sand (vid)

Researchers claim a second Sphinx may be buried beneath the sand on the Giza plateau, based on ancient depictions and modern satellite data. The theory is based on the “Dream Stela” of Thutmose IV, which appears to depict two Sphinxes, and on geometric analyses suggesting the existence of a symmetrical structure. Satellite scans have detected vertical shafts and underground passages beneath a sand hill. However, the theory is disputed by some Egyptologists, such as Zahi Hawass, and requires on-site research for confirmation.
