Maccabi, Hapoel, and Dubai BC Relocate Due to Middle East Conflict

The Euroleague has decided to definitively relocate Maccabi Tel Aviv, Hapoel Tel Aviv, and Dubai BC to other European cities until the end of the current season due to the volatile situation in the Middle East. Maccabi will return to Belgrade, Hapoel to Sofia, while Dubai BC is seriously considering Athens as a temporary home. The decision was made at an emergency Euroleague board meeting to ensure the smooth running of the games and protect athletes and fans. The teams' relocation is temporary and will last until the situation in the region improves. Maccabi will play again at the “Hala Pionir” in Belgrade, while Hapoel will use the “Arena 8888” in Sofia. Dubai BC, for the first time in its European history, will seek a new home, with Athens and the SUNEL Arena being the most likely option. The Euroleague is closely monitoring the situation and will take further decisions depending on developments. The safety of athletes and fans remains the top priority.
