Cyprus is on high alert following the Iranian drone attacks on the British Akrotiri base. Two Greek frigates have sailed for Cyprus and two pairs of F-16 fighter jets have been stationed in Paphos. The Minister of National Defense, Nikos Dendias, is arriving in Cyprus today accompanied by the Chief of General Staff. The government has made decisions to strengthen security, and the Akrotiri base has become a gathering point for foreign correspondents. According to a Cypriot source, the drones were launched from Lebanon. Additionally, an A400M Atlas transport aircraft has been dispatched to reinforce operations.
