Lidl Cyprus: €1.3 Million Investment in Cancer Support

Lidl Cyprus has invested a total of €1.3 million in the Cyprus Anticancer Association over the past 12 years through a long-term strategic partnership. The recent “Under the Lights of Love” event raised €42,900 from ticket sales, which was donated entirely to the Association. Additionally, the Lidl Plus campaign raised €83,479.50, and the company increased its donation to €100,000. The funds will be used to strengthen the Food Program and the Room Adoption Program of the “Arodafnousa” Center, which provides comprehensive palliative care services to cancer patients. Lidl Cyprus fully covers the cost of food for patients and the operating expenses of two rooms. The company has also funded the creation of a space for rest and relaxation for the relatives of patients, recognizing the need to support those who stand by the suffering. Lidl Cyprus is considered a significant social partner, connecting business success with social welfare. The collaboration with the Anticancer Association is a long-term commitment for Lidl Cyprus, which invests in the sustainability of care services and contributes to providing dignity and hope to patients and their families.
