Lidl Cyprus has released its socioeconomic impact study for 2024, demonstrating its significant contribution to the Cypriot economy and society. The company contributed €133 million to Cyprus' GDP, representing 0.43% of the total, and supports 2,000 jobs, covering 0.40% of national employment. Furthermore, it paid €22 million in taxes and social insurance contributions, 0.17% of the state's total tax revenue. Lidl Cyprus collaborates with over 400 Cypriot suppliers, strengthening local production and the circular economy, while also promoting Cypriot products abroad, with exports totaling €28.8 million in 2024. Finally, the company invested €589.7 thousand in social and environmental initiatives, including sponsorships, donations, and sustainability projects, demonstrating its commitment to responsible entrepreneurship and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
