Levantis: "It Will Be a Tough Game, We Haven't Beaten APOEL Twice in Decades"

Nikolas Levantis, spokesperson for AEL, spoke on the “Kane Paichnidi” show and referred to the upcoming derby against APOEL. He emphasized that the team is going into a final to secure a place in the top six and that only a win will keep their hopes alive. A full stadium is expected and the team will give their all. Levantis acknowledged that the team missed opportunities to reduce the difference, but now has the last chance to prove its worth. He believes the team is wiser and shows a different face against the top six teams. He admitted that APOEL is coming with good morale after their victory over Omonia. Referring to ticket pre-sales, Levantis said that over 1000 tickets have been sold and that approximately 4000 spectators have secured a place. He expressed hope that the stadium will be filled only with AEL fans. Levantis mentioned that the win at GSP after 14 years is important for the fans, but has no significance for the upcoming match. He emphasized that AEL hasn't beaten APOEL twice in decades. All players are available for the match and the coach will decide on roster management.
