Kurdish Protest in Cyprus Marks Anniversary of Ocalan's Arrest

A group of Kurds living in Cyprus held a march to the Greek Embassy in Nicosia, to commemorate the 27th anniversary of the arrest of PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan. The protesters demanded Ocalan's release and the recognition of Rojava. The march began at the roundabout near the 'Carlsberg' factory and headed towards the Ministry of Interior, before ending at the Greek Embassy, where a black wreath was laid. The march ended peacefully, according to police.
