Kerynia Municipality Condemns Conversion of Historic Pantopoleio as Property Seizure

The Municipality of Kerynia condemns the conversion of the historic Pantopoleio of Kerynia into a “gastronomy hub” by the pseudo-state, characterizing it as a continuation of the seizure of Greek Cypriot properties. The building, built in 1878 and formerly serving as a town hall and market, is part of Kerynia's cultural heritage. The Municipality emphasizes that altering the historical identity of monuments is an attack on cultural heritage and an attempt to disconnect these spaces from the memory and continuity of the place.
