Jordan and EU Strengthen Strategic Cooperation in Amman Summit

Jordan and the European Union have strengthened their strategic cooperation at a summit in Amman, agreeing on a range of areas including humanitarian aid to Gaza, stability in Syria and Lebanon, investments, security, energy, and social cohesion. Leaders from both sides supported the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 2803 and the Trump Plan for Gaza, as well as the two-state solution. The EU announced a 3 billion euro support package for Jordan, and Jordan joined the Global Energy Transition Forum. A Security and Defense Dialogue between Jordan and the EU will also begin in 2026, and a new summit will be held in Brussels in 2028.
