Italy: Chiara Ferragni Acquitted of Fraud Charges

Italian influencer Chiara Ferragni has been acquitted of fraud charges related to a promotional campaign for traditional Christmas cakes and Easter eggs. Prosecutors had argued that Ferragni was aware that funds raised from sales were not being allocated to charitable causes, as advertised. The influencer had consistently maintained that she lacked detailed information regarding the destination of the funds and had already paid over three million euros in compensation. Ferragni expressed her relief at the acquittal and thanked her supporters.
