“ISOTITA”: Reduction of Daily Allowances Abolishes Police Rights

The Police Branch of the ISOTITA Trade Union strongly opposed the unilateral decision of the Police Leadership to reduce daily allowances, characterizing it as a violation of an acquired right of the police officers. The union emphasized that this reduction abolishes rights that have been gained through the struggle of the Security Forces. Furthermore, ISOTITA announced that it has a scheduled meeting with the Minister of Justice on Friday, January 2, 2026, and that it will soon announce the actions it will take to defend its members. The union is committed to remaining the main shield of protection for police officers and their rights. ISOTITA highlighted its historical contribution to the unity of the police and the protection of their rights, while also accusing other bodies of disrupting labor peace and not seeking unity. The announcement concludes by reaffirming the union's commitment to safeguarding the interests of police officers.
