Iran Strikes Gulf Countries Following Alleged Attacks

Iran has launched attacks against several Gulf countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Bahrain, in response to alleged Israeli and US attacks. Iranian officials had previously warned of retaliation in the event of an attack. In the United Arab Emirates, two people were killed and others injured in attacks in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, while a fire broke out at the iconic Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai due to debris from an intercepted drone. Oman, which is mediating talks between Iran and the US, was not targeted. Iran's differentiated stance towards Gulf countries appears to be linked to their relationships with the United States. The UAE's air defense systems successfully intercepted several missiles. These attacks are raising concerns about regional escalation.
