Iran Protests Escalate: Dozens Dead, Thousands Arrested

The situation in Iran is escalating, with protests continuing for ten days, resulting in at least 36 deaths, according to the human rights organization HRANA. Of these, 34 were protesters and 2 were members of the security forces. Iranian authorities report only 3 deaths among security personnel. Over 2,076 people have been arrested, and more than 60 protesters have been injured. The protests began due to the economic crisis and have spread to 27 of the country's 31 provinces. During clashes in Tehran, tear gas entered a hospital, causing disruption. The situation remains tense and violence is escalating.
