The Cyprus Organisation of State Health Services (OKYpY) has launched an investigation into the critical condition of a 42-year-old patient who is in a coma at Larnaca General Hospital, following a hysterectomy. The patient's family had submitted a letter expressing concerns about her health and reporting inconsistencies in the medical care provided. According to the letter, the patient was found on the floor of the toilet in a semi-naked and wet state, and had requested that her catheter not be removed due to dizziness. The family also states that the patient attempted to request assistance via messages and calls, but did not receive an immediate response. OKYpY has appointed officials to record the events, and the family intends to file a complaint with the Police as well.
