Invest Cyprus presented the results and actions for 2024 and 2025 at its 2026 Annual General Meeting, confirming the strengthening of Cyprus' investment position. In 2024, Cyprus recorded inflows of foreign direct investment of €8.5 billion, ranking 2nd in the EU and in the global top ten per capita. Significant was the €2.6 billion investment in the technology sector. Invest Cyprus contributed to attracting foreign investment, with 70 letters of intent and the establishment of over 420 companies. Additionally, a study was completed showing that foreign investments contribute 3.3% to GDP and 4% to employment, while technology companies contribute 11% to GDP. For 2026, the organization will focus on the international promotion of Cyprus through partnerships with the Financial Times and other events.
