International Recognition for Nabu Pera: Nomination for the German Music Critics' Awards

The Cypriot musical group Nabu Pera (Dimitris Yasemidis, Savvas Thoma, Natasha Hadjiandreou) is pleased to announce that their debut album, “Soundscapes of Nicosia,” has been nominated for the Preis der deutschen Schallplattenkritik, one of the most prestigious German music critics' awards, in the Electronic & Experimental category. This nomination is a particularly important distinction for a musical group from Cyprus, as the award is presented by an independent committee of leading German music critics and is considered a prestigious award of the highest artistic recognition. The album Soundscapes of Nicosia is an audio portrait of Nicosia, combining electronic and experimental elements with urban soundscapes, memory and contemporary identity, and has already attracted the interest of an international audience.
