Increase in LPG Cylinder Thefts in Nicosia – Public Appeal

There is a rise in the theft of LPG cylinders in Nicosia, causing concern among residents. The perpetrators target cylinders located in yards, common areas, and inadequately secured points of homes, mainly during the evening hours. 'Nicosia Observers' are calling on the public to take preventive measures, such as avoiding placing cylinders in visible locations, securing them with a chain or base, securing gates, and cooperating with neighbors. Citizens are urged to report suspicious activity or thefts to the Police (1460).
