Impersonating Revolut Officials – Stealing Banking Data

Police are warning the public about a new form of fraud where perpetrators call citizens pretending to be Revolut officials. Their aim is to steal banking data and money from victims' accounts. Police have received several complaints about this type of fraud. The perpetrators use communication apps to make video calls and convince victims they are genuine Revolut employees. They then attempt to extract sensitive information, such as passwords, PINs, and bank card details. Police urge the public to be particularly careful and not to respond to such calls. They advise citizens to never reveal personal or banking information to strangers and to verify the caller's identity through the bank's official channels. If someone has already disclosed their banking details, police recommend immediately informing their bank to take the necessary protective measures.
