Imaging Centers Bill: Committee Aims for Speedy Completion of Discussion

The Parliamentary Committee on Health has begun the article-by-article discussion of the bill for imaging centers, with the aim of establishing their operation and ensuring patient safety. The Committee President, Efthymios Diplaros, expressed hope for a speedy completion of the discussion and passage of the bill. MPs expressed reservations about certain articles, while Mr. Diplaros stated that there is consensus on most of the proposed changes. The bill aims to control imaging centers, their equipment and the procedures they follow, as well as to define the role of doctors, radiologists and technologists.
