IDF: Hezbollah Launched Largest Attack Yet Last Night

The Israeli military announced today, Thursday, that Hezbollah launched its largest attack against Israel yet last night, coinciding with the missile strikes from Iran. The attack included approximately 200 rockets and 20 drones launched at cities and communities across Israel. Army spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Nadav Sosani said that Israel's air defense managed to intercept a large part of the attacks, resulting in few civilian casualties. Hezbollah's attack coincided with the ballistic missiles launched from Iran, and constitutes the largest barrage of rockets from the organization since the start of the Israeli-American offensive on February 28th. Journalists from the French News Agency recorded damage to homes in Arab villages in northern Israel, while residents reported that their families had managed to take refuge in safe rooms. The Israeli military responded with a wave of strikes against Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, targeting its ability to launch rockets. Sosani said that Hezbollah has launched more than 1,000 drones, rockets and missiles into Israel in the last 12 days. The situation remains tense in the region.
