Hermes Airports: Flights that were disrupted are resuming

Hermes Airports announced the resumption of flights that had been temporarily suspended due to the situation in the region, improving the connectivity of Larnaca and Paphos airports. Today, 84 flights are expected in Larnaca and 25 in Paphos, with 34 cancellations in Larnaca and 4 in Paphos. The resumption of easyJet flights from London and to Berlin significantly contributes to improved connectivity. The company announced that it will gradually restore its entire scheduled flight program, adding destinations such as Basel, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh and Amsterdam. This development follows the resumption of British Airways flights and the Lufthansa Group's announcement to restore its schedule from tomorrow, Saturday, March 7th. Hermes Airports notes that more and more airlines are resuming flights daily, sending a positive message of confidence in Cyprus as a tourist destination. However, the company urges caution regarding estimates for the upcoming tourist season, emphasizing that there is time and that maintaining flight schedules is a key factor. At the same time, it calls on all tourism stakeholders to reassure the public and airlines, projecting a positive image of Cyprus.
