Cyprus Restores Air Connectivity with Europe

Hermes Airports announced the full restoration of air connectivity between Cyprus and Europe, following temporary disruptions caused by the situation in the Middle East. Companies such as Lufthansa Group, British Airways, easyJet, and Transavia have resumed flights to and from Larnaca and Paphos airports. Additionally, Emirates has resumed the Larnaca-Dubai route on a daily basis. Today, March 9th, a total of 102 flights are expected in Larnaca and 36 in Paphos. The restoration of air connectivity concerns direct flights to many European countries, such as the United Kingdom, Greece, Poland, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, and others. Hermes Airports provides a detailed list of airlines and destination countries from Larnaca and Paphos airports. The restoration of air connection is an important development for tourism and the Cypriot economy, as it facilitates travel and access to the island. However, flights to and from Israel, Qatar, Bahrain, and Lebanon remain cancelled. Passengers who have planned to travel to these countries are advised to contact airlines or their travel agents for information and bookings.
