Gunfire Near Presidential Palace in Caracas - Situation Under Control (Video)

Gunfire was heard in the area of the Miraflores presidential palace in Caracas, Venezuela, last night. Eyewitnesses reported that the shooting began around 8:00 PM local time (2:00 AM Cyprus time). According to a government source, the situation was brought under control after drone flights and an exchange of fire. The source stated that unmanned aerial vehicles flew near the presidency, resulting in security teams opening fire. The incident occurred a few days after a US military operation and the capture of President Nicolás Maduro. Residents of the area confirmed hearing gunshots, similar to those heard on Saturday. Videos circulating on social media show tracer fire in the sky, against an invisible target. Security forces mobilized around the presidential palace following the incident. The Venezuelan Ministry of Communication has not yet commented on the event.
