Greens Announce Four More Female Candidates for Parliamentary Elections

The Green Movement – Citizens' Cooperation has announced four new female candidates for the 2026 parliamentary elections: Maria Kola, Virginia Christou, Stella Petridou, and Sarah Hussein. Maria Kola, Deputy President of the Movement, has experience in data analysis, while Virginia Christou is a member of the Political Committee and has a law degree. Stella Petridou, a candidate in the province of Nicosia, has an accounting background, and Sarah Hussein, from the province of Paphos, studied sociology. The final lists of candidates will be approved at the Pan-Cypriot Conference after the completion of the procedures of the Provincial Assemblies. These candidacies strengthen the presence of women on the Movement’s ballot and represent different sectors and professional experiences.
