Σειρά εκδηλώσεων πραγματοποιούνται σήμερα στο πλαίσιο εορτασμού της εθνικής επετείου της 25ης Μαρτίου του 1821 στην Αττική.
Στις 08:00 έγινε η επίσημη έπαρση της σημαίας στον Ιερό Βράχο της Ακρόπολης. Προηγήθηκε στις 06:20 ρίψη 21 χαιρετιστήριων βολών από το πυροβολείο του Λυκαβηττού.
Στις 11:00 θα ακολουθήσει η παρέλαση τμημάτων των Ενόπλων Δυνάμεων και των Σωμάτων Ασφαλείας μπροστά από το Μνημείο του Αγνώστου Στρατιώτη, παρουσία του Προέδρου της Ελληνικής Δημοκρατίας.

Greek Independence Day Celebrated with Flag Raising at the Acropolis
Greek Independence Day was celebrated with a series of events in Attica, culminating in the official raising of the Greek flag at the Acropolis at 8:00 AM. This was preceded by the firing of 21 salute shots from the Lycabettus artillery at 6:20 AM. At 11:00 AM, a parade of units from the Armed Forces and Security Forces will take place in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, in the presence of the President of the Hellenic Republic.
