Greek Ambassador to Cyprus First to Greet President at New Year

The Greek Ambassador to Cyprus, Konstantinos Kollias, was the first to visit the Presidential Palace in Athens with the new year. The meeting with President Kostas Tasoulas underscores Greece's interest in Cyprus, especially given that the Republic of Cyprus currently holds the presidency of the European Union. President Tasoulas had also met with Ambassador Kollias in Nicosia in November, during events for Armed Forces Day and the awarding of moral rewards to ELDYK. The ambassador's visit symbolizes the close relationship and cooperation between Greece and Cyprus.
