Graphic Stories Returns for 12th Year in Larnaca

The 12th International Visual Communication ConFest, Graphic Stories, returns to Larnaca from May 8-10, 2026, at Alexander College. The event will bring together designers, artists, and professionals from Cyprus and abroad for the exchange of ideas and knowledge. The first day will feature lectures by distinguished speakers such as Andrei Grosu, Marina Pavlova, and Lakis Argyrou, covering topics related to design, typography, artificial intelligence, and political communication. The festival will also include the award ceremony for the international poster competition “Poetry Speaks Loud” and the opening of the corresponding exhibition with 50 works from creators around the world. The exhibition will be open and free to the public until May 22, 2026. The competition's judging panel consists of internationally recognized names in the design field. On the weekend of May 9-10, three specialized workshops with limited participants will be held, focusing on the business side of design (Babis Schoinas), calligraphy (Marina Pavlova), and the poetry of communication (Lakis Argyrou). The workshops are aimed at professionals and anyone interested in creativity and communication. Graphic Stories has become an important event for visual communication in Cyprus, providing a platform for promoting creativity and exchanging ideas. This year's event is expected to attract a significant number of participants and contribute to highlighting Cyprus as a hub for visual communication.
