Georgian Burglars Sent Stolen Goods to Georgia via Thessaloniki

Members of a burglary gang, primarily Georgians, have been arrested in Limassol for a series of burglaries in homes and luxury apartments. The perpetrators are alleged to have monitored the premises in advance and had an organized plan of action. The total value of the stolen items, such as jewelry, gold, and watches, exceeds seven million euros. Police discovered that the stolen goods were being sent to Georgia via Thessaloniki, declared as toys and sports equipment. The suspects remain in custody for an additional eight days, while police continue their investigations and attempt to identify the stolen items. The gang is believed to be involved in approximately 40 burglary cases since December 2025. The case has attracted the attention of Europol authorities, as the gang is considered part of an international criminal organization.
