Fuel Price Hikes Expected in Cyprus Amidst Rising Oil Prices

Fuel price increases are expected in Cyprus in the coming period, due to the rise in crude oil prices in international markets. According to the Spokesperson of the Petrol Station Owners Association, the price of crude oil has stabilized around $65 per barrel, up from $59 previously. The increases are estimated to range between 2 and 5 cents per liter. Despite the increases, prices remain at reasonable levels compared to the past, and the price of heating oil is considered particularly good. Fuel companies receive new shipments every 10-15 weeks, at which point the exact size of the increases will become apparent.
