French 'Hypnotist' Accused of Drugging and Raping Women – Victim's Testimony Shocks

A man in France is facing serious charges of repeatedly raping and sexually abusing women. Cyril Zatarra, a dance teacher and self-taught hypnotherapist, is accused of raping 14 women over a decade and secretly videotaping another 20. According to the investigation, Zatarra allegedly drugged the women with hypnotic pills before assaulting them, often targeting women with whom he had a prior relationship. One victim testified that she was found in a lethargic state after consuming wine offered by Zatarra, with fragmented memories and traces of hypnotic drugs in her system, while the defendant's DNA was found on her underwear. The trial is being held behind closed doors, and the case is reminiscent of the high-profile case of Dominique Pelikot, who was convicted of similar crimes.
