France: Woman Arrested After Two Infants Found Dead in Freezer

A 50-year-old woman has been arrested in France on suspicion of double infanticide. The bodies of two newborns were found inside a freezer at her home in the Aigeviglier-et-Limon area. The woman had left the house before the discovery of the bodies. Police were alerted by a man who found a dead newborn in the freezer. During the search of the house, the body of a second baby was also found. Authorities believe the woman is the mother of the two infants. The suspect was arrested in the early hours of Wednesday in Boulogne-Billancourt, where one of her sons resides. The woman is already a mother of nine children from two marriages. The case has shocked France, and authorities are investigating the woman's motives and the circumstances surrounding the deaths of the infants. The investigation is ongoing.
