Former footballer Hugo Mutinho has revealed that he was approached to be involved in a fixed match while playing in Cyprus. According to Mutinho, he was offered €10,000 to ensure his team would be losing at halftime. However, he refused the offer, stating that he would rather be considered a weak footballer than a weak person. Mutinho played for several Cypriot teams between 2013 and 2019, including Aris, AEL Kouklion, Pafos and Akritas.
