Five Themed Photo Spots Created in Limassol Wine Villages

The Limassol Tourism Development & Promotion Company, with the support of the Deputy Ministry of Tourism, has created five themed photo spots in the wine villages of the Limassol District, focusing on the theme of “The Grape Cluster”. These spots, located in the villages of Omodos, Mandria, Koilani, Pachna and Lofou, aim to showcase the region's wine heritage and strengthen its tourism identity. Each photo spot features an artistic depiction of the “Grape Cluster”, specifically designed for the project by artist Georgios Mourouzis. This visual symbol draws inspiration from the area's winemaking tradition and harmoniously integrates into the natural and cultural landscape of the communities. Through the creation of aesthetically pleasing photo spots centered around the “Grape Cluster”, visitors will have the opportunity to experience the richness, colors, and aromas of the region, capturing their unique experience through photography and social media. The initiative is part of coordinated efforts to promote wine heritage, increase visitation to the wine villages, and create modern, attractive “Instagrammable spots” that enhance the area’s tourism brand. Specifically, it seeks to highlight the wine villages as destinations for cultural and gastronomic tourism, showcasing the tradition and authentic landscape of the Limassol District.
