Eurovision: Antigoni and Tamta Shine at ‘Sing for Greece’ Semifinal

The second semifinal of ‘Sing for Greece’ concluded with improved directorial approach but uneven artistic performances. The evening was marred by sound issues, with viewers reporting distortions through social media, and even Charis Varthakouris commenting that the sound seemed like it was coming from a mobile phone. The presenters, Betty Maggira and Katerina Vrana, stood out for their comfort and humor, with the latter stealing the show with her positive energy and improvisational skills. The script of the show, written by Giorgos Kapoutzidis, proved crucial to the success of the presentation. Among the contestants, Marika attracted attention and advanced to the final, while 'Koza Mostra' ignited the audience. Some participants, such as Good Job Nicky, faced technical difficulties due to the sound problems. The songs that advanced to the final are: Dark Side of the Moon – Good Job Nicky, Labyrinth – Mikay, Daughters of the Sun (A, E, I, O, U) – Marika, Mad About It – D3lta SABOTAGE! – leroybroughtflowers, Bulletproof – KOZA MOSTRA, Asteio – ZAF. Along with these, the songs from the first semifinal also qualified.
