Cyprus' GDP Increased by 2% in 2024: Eurostat

Cyprus' real GDP increased by 2% in 2024 compared to 2023, according to Eurostat data. Cyprus' GDP per capita corresponded to 98.9% of the EU average. Overall in the EU, 169 regions saw an increase in GDP, while 64 recorded a decrease. The largest increase was recorded in South Central Bulgaria (+11.6%), while the largest decrease was in South-East Bulgaria (-12.7%). Ireland (East-Midlands) ranks first in terms of regional GDP per capita (268.3% of the EU average), while Mayotte (France) is in last place (30.1%).
