European University of Cyprus to Establish Branch in Athens

The European University of Cyprus (EUC) has officially submitted an application to establish a branch in Athens, named “European University of Cyprus – Athens Branch (EUC Athens)”. The new campus will be developed on 50 acres, with the potential to expand to 100 acres, in Pallini, Attica. It will include modern infrastructure such as amphitheaters, laboratories, a library, and student spaces. Initially, four schools will operate: Medicine, Life and Health Sciences, Business and Digital Technologies, and Law. EUC Athens will collaborate with research and business organizations, such as the Athens Medical Group, for clinical training. The investment is expected to exceed 50 million euros and create new jobs. Applications will begin after the completion of the licensing process by the National Authority for Higher Education (EΘ.Α.Α.Ε.) and the Cyprus Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ΔΙ.Π.Α.Ε.). The branch will be based on the experience of the EUC and its branch in Frankfurt.
