Eurobank and Cyprus Seeds Continue Strategic Partnership

Eurobank has renewed its partnership with the non-profit organization Cyprus Seeds for the seventh consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship in Cyprus. The collaboration aims to commercialize scientific research produced at Cypriot universities and research centers, with Cyprus Seeds providing funding, mentorship, and networking opportunities. To date, the program has supported 24 research teams from various academic and research institutions, including the University of Cyprus, the Cyprus University of Technology, and the Cyprus Institute. This support has led to the creation of six startups and the achievement of one licensing agreement. Cyprus Seeds has gained international recognition for its contribution to innovation, receiving accolades from the Financial Times and the International Chamber of Commerce. The organization also serves as a bridge between Cyprus and the Greek and Cypriot diaspora, securing additional funding and connections. For Eurobank, investment in research and innovation is a key element of its strategy for sustainable development and competitiveness. The bank seeks to facilitate the connection of research teams with the business community, creating economic and social benefits. The CEO of Cyprus Seeds, Maria Markidou Georgiadou, expressed her satisfaction with Eurobank's continued support.
