Eurobank Announces Voluntary Exit Plan

Eurobank has announced a voluntary exit plan for its staff, which will be in effect until March 23rd. The maximum compensation amount is €200,000 and will be tax-free. The bank's goal is to reduce its workforce by approximately 300 employees. The plan applies to all bank employees, including those of CNP, the former Eurobank Cyprus, and the former Hellenic Bank. A prerequisite for participation is five years of service with the bank and an age of over 35 years at the start of the plan. The announcement of the plan follows previous announcements by bank management in September 2025 regarding the intention for such a plan. The bank emphasizes that voluntary exit plans are common practice during periods of restructuring and are often requested by employees themselves.
