EU Tested by Energy Crisis and Wars

The European Union is facing significant challenges due to the energy crisis and ongoing wars. The reduction in oil product imports from Russia had a significant economic cost, which was passed on to citizens through rising electricity prices. The crisis in the Middle East is exacerbating the situation, affecting energy prices and supply chains. The EU, despite its goals for climate neutrality by 2050, has encountered obstacles in implementing the European Green Deal due to geopolitical developments. The need to diversify energy sources and invest in new infrastructure is imperative, however, the cost continues to burden citizens.
