EU Commissioners to Visit Cyprus

The European Commission's College of Commissioners will visit Cyprus on January 15th and 16th, as part of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the EU. The purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation between European institutions and the Republic of Cyprus. The meetings between the Commissioners and Cypriot Ministers and Deputy Ministers will take place at the New Limassol Port and will be organized into four thematic sections. Simultaneously, the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will meet with the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides. Following the individual meetings, a plenary session and a joint press conference will be held. This visit is an important opportunity for Cyprus to promote its interests within the EU and discuss matters of mutual concern. In addition, the program includes a tour along the Green Line in Nicosia and a guided tour of the photographic exhibition "The Cyprus Issue," which highlights the history and challenges facing Cyprus.
