ELAM Announces Zenonas Michailidis as Candidate for Larnaca District

The National Popular Front (ELAM) has announced the candidacy of Zenonas Michailidis for the Larnaca District. According to ELAM, Mr. Michailidis' candidacy expresses the need for a serious and responsible political stance towards the demographic, national and geopolitical challenges facing Cyprus and Hellenism. Mr. Michailidis, born in Larnaca in 1989, studied Public Administration and Business Administration at the University of Cyprus and holds the ACCA professional qualification. He also has specialized knowledge in International Taxation and Corporate Law. In the past, he was involved in the issue of radiation and public health protection. He works as a director in a private company and as a financial advisor. He has expressed his concern about the political situation in Greece and Cyprus, as well as the challenges facing Hellenism, and is preparing to publish a book titled “Strategic Void: The Undeclared War Against Hellenism and the Renaissance”. In his statement, Mr. Michailidis emphasized the need to strengthen national security, deterrent power and strategic cooperation with Greece and Europe, as well as to address declining birth rates, immigration and threats from Turkey. He rejected the solution of a Bi-zonal, Bi-communal Federation, considering that it does not guarantee the survival of Hellenism and the Republic of Cyprus.
