Dust to Give Way to Rain, Storms, Snow and Strong Winds – Detailed Weather Forecast

Cyprus is expected to experience changing weather conditions in the coming days. Until Thursday evening, there will be intermittent periods of sparse dust in the atmosphere. Temperatures will range around 20-21 degrees Celsius in coastal and inland areas, and 15 degrees in the mountains. From Thursday evening onwards, a low-pressure system will bring local showers and isolated thunderstorms, starting from the west and spreading across the island. Snow or sleet is expected on the highest peaks of Troodos, while winds will intensify. On Friday, the weather will be unstable with rain, thunderstorms, and snow in the mountains, with very strong to violent winds. Saturday is forecast to have partly cloudy skies with local showers and snow in the mountains. Temperatures will remain above average on Thursday, but will drop significantly on Friday and rise slightly on Saturday, approaching average levels. The weather forecast calls for readiness, as conditions may be unfavorable, especially in the mountains and during thunderstorms. Citizens are advised to stay informed of developments and take necessary protective measures.
