Dowty: UK and Cyprus Have a Strong Relationship

The UK Minister of State for Europe, Stephen Dowty, stated that the United Kingdom and the Republic of Cyprus have a strong relationship. He made the statement after a meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, in Nicosia. The two men discussed the UK-Cyprus relationship, security, cooperation in the wider region, as well as trade issues and the ties between the two peoples. Mr. Dowty emphasized the strong dialogue between the two countries on issues of security, stability and trade, as well as increased cooperation with the EU following last year's Summit.
