DISY Calls for Action Plan to Combat Organized Crime

DISY (Democratic Rally) has expressed concern over the increasing activity of organized crime networks in Cyprus, describing it as a serious threat to public order and social stability. In its announcement, DISY highlights the ability of criminal organizations to exploit modern methods and penetrate critical sectors of the economy. The party calls on the government to invest in modern technologies, strengthen international cooperation, and structurally upgrade the Police, in order to effectively combat organized crime. It emphasizes that inaction is not an option and that delays in taking measures undermine the sense of security of citizens.
