Dead Beaked Whale Found on the Coast of Akanthou

A dead beaked whale was discovered on the coast of Akanthou on Tuesday afternoon. The male mammal, approximately five meters in length, is estimated to weigh 1.5 tons. Teams from the "wildlife rehabilitation center" based in the occupied Mount mobilized to remove and transport the animal. The "director" of the center, Kemal Basat, stated that the incident occurred on a date close to a similar event three years ago when 13 beaked whales were stranded in the same area. The cause of the whale's death is currently unknown. Efforts to move the animal from the difficult location are underway, with the intention of transferring it to the center's facilities. There, a necropsy will be performed to determine the exact cause of death.
