Cyprus to Issue 10-Year Bond

The Republic of Cyprus is proceeding with the issuance of a 10-year bond, appointing Barclays, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, and Société Générale as Joint Lead Managers. The bond will be denominated in euros and will mature in January 2036. The issuance will be in registered form, under the Republic's EMTN Programme, and is expected to launch shortly, subject to market conditions. Bank of Cyprus will also participate as a Co-Manager in the transaction.
